Magnificence

Devotional 12.3.09
Magnificent
1. making a splendid appearance or show; of exceptional beauty, size,
etc.
2. noble; sublime
3. (usually initial capital letter) (formerly used as a title of some
rulers) great; grand
4. marked by extraordinary elegance, beauty, and splendor
5. large and impressive in size, scope, or extent
6. far beyond what is usual, normal, or customary
God is magnificent. He's bigger than any and everything that comes our
way. His appearance is so marvelous that we, as humans, would die if
we were to see Him. Moses got to see God's back and was in awe just
from that (Exodus 33:18-23). Even Jesus would come from being in God's
presence and would be glowing (Matthew 11:2). God is noble; He is a
King, a fair, distinguished, admirable, and impressive one! He is the
Great Magnificent! He doesn't hold back. Everything He creates is in
His image; the beauty and majesty of life, of a sunrise, of a Lion
protecting his family, of TRUE true love-it comes from Him. And
according to the world, God is anything but normal! He's original, He
creates everything there is to be created! (What about the bad and
perverted things of the world? That's why they're in the world. Satan
perverts what God creates to be beautiful. God doesn't create those
things. Satan's just a copyright fraud, a bad one at that).
Living for God makes us anything but normal. We're made in His image,
AND He dwell in our Spirits. So that makes us magnificent as well.
Let's go be the Magnificent Body that God is calling us to be!
